Corbie Shepherd’s Hut

Secluded, romantic… Corbie is the perfect location for a special getaway and has witnessed many wedding anniversaries, Valentines’ Days and honeymoons – and now it comes with it’s own outdoor wood fired hot tub bath!

Set up on the fell away from the main site, Corbie enjoys amazing views across the whole valley. This fully insulated shepherd’s hut is small but perfectly formed, well insulated and utterly delightful at all times of the year. Once you arrive at the hut, you’ll truly feel like you are in your own little world, the perfect atmosphere in which to disconnect with life and reconnect with each other.

The hut has it’s own water supply and composting loo, giving you the ability to remain relatively self sufficient from the rest of the site of you would like to.

Corbie also has a real showpiece feature – a truly amazing Hikki Scandinavian hot tub bath. Heated by a woodburning stove and easily big enough for two adults and a couple o children, the bath sits in a secluded position on decking below the lonely Scots Pine trees which nestle the hut.

The hut has a built in kingsized bed and also a roll out mattress for smaller visitors.

There is a wonderful woodburning stove, perfect for heating and cooking and an outdoor fire pit with barbecue facilities. The kitchen butchers block acts as a prep area and is well equipped with utensils, crockery and cutlery – see the list below for what’s included.

You are also welcome to book a tent campaign spot to pitch a tent close to the hut to create a family camp! You can choose this as an extra option when you book the hut.

Back to Yurts & Huts
Another amazing weekend, this time celebrating our anniversary in Corbie Shepherd's Hut. We spent our time relaxing, cooking on the campfire, walking and watching shooting stars and not looking at a clock for days.
