Welcome to your very own wood cabin! Swallow Hut is rustic and magical inside and out.
Swallow is a beautifully constructed, insulated barn measuring 20ft by 12ft. In a central location on the site and close to the main kitchen and washing facilities, the hut also has its own outside fire pit and seating area plus a covered verandah to sit and relax on.
It also has the tantalising possibility of booking the adjacent outdoor kitchen and wood fired pizza oven – so Swallow is the perfect choice for those who love to cook and dine in style and as a gathering space for families also hiring other yurts.
It can accommodate up to four people with a double and two single beds all up on stilts with ladders to clamber up – so everyone gets ‘the top bunk’! There is also a comfortable sofa and a floor seating space with cushioned base for children to play, read, nap and dream…
Swallow Hut is great for small families and those who will appreciate having the outdoor seating and fire pit area. The tree swings, orchard and outdoor mud kitchen are close by too so your little ones can explore and experience freedom whilst staying close by.
The hut is equipped with kitchen utensils, pots and pans, crockery and cutlery. It is heated by a woodburning stove which you can also heat food and kettles on and you will be greeted by a supply of firewood, kindling, firelighters, matches and candle to get you off to a good start – firewood and kindling are also available to buy on the site.
Swallow has its own stand pipe and is very close to the shower and toilet block. It has its own outdoor kitchen area with sink (with running cold water) by the hut, and is just a short walk from the communal kitchen hut, with refrigeration and electric sockets for charging phones.
