Here are our wonderful Tipis, Yurts and Shepherds Hut! Just click on any of these to see more details, plus prices and availbility too. Each has its own unique  and individual site giving you a sense of being really 'on your own' in this stunning landscape. Choose a Tipi if want a real sense of the wild and for a true eco-living holiday, a Yurt for beautiful romantic comfort and our Shepherds Hut for that one off experience. Comments in 2013 such as "we were just blown away..we just didn't want leave..we want to live here " speak for themselves... 

Coming 2014 ! A new kitchen area. A group Pizza oven/BBQ near Peewit Tipi and a large dining Shepherds Hut seating up to 10. This can be hired seperately. Just enquire for more details. 

By the way there is a 10% reduction for all guests arriving by foot, bicycle or public transport!

 

Brock Yurt is available from August 2014 ! This beautiful 16ft Yurt sleeps up to 4 ( the size of tradional family Yurts in Mongolia ) It is made by one of the finest Yurt makers in the world, Yurt Workshop, from lovlingly prepared sweet Chestnut and Oak. This is our beautiful new 18ft Shepherds Hut for eating, meeting and education. It has a wood burning stove and a large reclaimed table and benches seating at least 10. It has large double stable doors too.  You can use for:

  • Music venue
  • Outside cinema
  • Outside classroom
  • Workshop space

Our large 24ft Peewit Tipi stands next to an apple orchard with mature Maples, Hazels, Hawthorns and Wild Cherries. This is the ideal Tipi for families of 4 - 6 needing to be near facilities and as a venue for gatherings for larger site bookings on other patrs of the site plus educational workshops and events. (Easiest access to facilities and Carpark from this Tipi!)

This stunning Yurt (Blackbird Yurt) has a secluded location next to a little rushing burn nestled amongst Birch and Alder, with views of fells and woodland. This beautiful Scandinavain Laavu Tipi is the wildest place of all our exciting places to stay. This is wild camping with Harebells on. It has a Eldfell professional wood burning stove, Reindeer skins and rugs and top blow up wild camping airbeds. Inside has all the latest equipment for proper wild cooking and BBQ open fire outside.
